AzuKo
AzuKo uses architecture, design and civil engineering skills to co-design, with local communities, the solutions to climate change and poverty. Extreme poverty, especially in rural areas, forces people to live in hazardous locations. AzuKo tackles these issues through a series of distinct projects, all developed with local people (mainly women). In Bangladesh, 91% of women felt more confident in design and construction having attended training with AzuKo, and 100% felt skills learned would help improve their home.
AzuKo runs projects in Bangladesh, China and the UK.
Our funding allowed AzuKo to invest in a CRM system to better manage its donor relations. The CRM will free up staff and give them time to invest in fundraising from individual donors.
