Mindsum
Mindsum is a ground-breaking start-up that ensures children and young people’s mental health is understood, supported and treated through technology and online community engagement. Mindsum connects young people with therapists in real time and at scale using innovation technology, subsidising the cost of therapy for those unable to afford it.
Funding from The Fore has covered staff costs, allowing the organisation to expand its capacity and extend its services. An employee of one of The Fore’s corporate partners joined the advisory board after learning about Mindsum at a funding panel. Meanwhile, founder Fareed Baloch has acted a mentor to newer Fore grantees, and has acted as a charity representative at a funding panel, bringing his sector experience to the decision-making process.
