Bassetlaw Food Bank (BFB) support thousands of people across Nottinghamshire with essentials when they need them most.

Bassetlaw is among the 20% most deprived areas in England and suffers from disproportionately low levels of investment. To address long-term food insecurity, BFB provide subsidised fruit and veg boxes and run a mobile shop serving rural areas, alongside a community allotment, and a community café offering affordable meals. With grant funding tightening across the sector and operational costs and need soaring, the charity’s momentum is at risk. Local businesses are knocking on their door, but they lack capacity to formalise these partnerships.

Using funding from The Fore, they will bring in the resource needed to convert informal support into long-term corporate relationships, helping BFB move beyond unpredictable grant funding to a financially sustainable model.
