Organisation Description

Happy Smiles Training is an award-winning disabled people’s-led social enterprise, with over 90% of its team being disabled. Co-founded in 2019 by a disabled young man, the organisation aims to challenge the undervaluing and stigma faced by disabled individuals locally and globally. Through inclusive training and projects, Happy Smiles empowers disabled people to lead positive social change. They’ve reached over 17,000 individuals, and 100% of their audiences recommend their training. Their goals include empowering disabled individuals, building inclusive communities, and providing positive role models for young people. What are they looking for?

We currently are seeking pro bono support in various areas to enhance our community projects and training initiatives. Ideal candidates would have expertise in areas such as HR & legal advice, marketing, graphic design and bid-writing/fundraising.

Key qualities we are looking for in an ideal candidate include:
Relevant professional experience or skills in the specific area of support
Strong commitment to our mission of promoting disability awareness and inclusion

Time commitments can vary depending on the project, task or individual. The support can be provided virtually, with communication via email, phone calls, or video conferencing. However, there may be occasional in-person meetings or events if preferred by the person providing support.
