Organisation Description
EmbraceAbility provides therapy, education, and support to children and their families in Cambodia and Malawi. We partner with local stakeholders on a number of programmes to deliver inclusive education and cash transfer programmes, training on preventing violence against women and girls with disabilities, and emergency relief for a more inclusive, independent, and safe environment for the communities.
What are they looking for?
EmbraceAbility is looking for a Treasurer to join the Board of Trustees. As Treasurer for EmbraceAbility, you will
1) monitor the financial standing of the charity and report to the Board of Trustees,
2) oversee the charity's financial risk management process and financial health, and
3) liaise with external auditors and ensure that the organisation's finances are responsibly invested and managed.
The expected time commitment is to be available to meet with the Board four times a year and to attend additional meetings where needed. All meetings and communications are online.
