Street Storage
Description
Street Storage give people experiencing homelessness something no other organisation does: a safe place for their things.
By offering secure storage, they reduce theft of belongings, physical strain, and the stigma of ‘looking homeless’, opening up access to employment and support. They also connect people to vital services from mental health care to housing. With homelessness rising 25% year on year in London, expansion is vital. But a lack of time means they can’t focus on this.
The investment from The Fore will allow them to hire a support worker, enabling the founder to focus on growing sustainable income through corporates and to develop a franchise model to expand across London and beyond.
