Give Your Best (GYB) use donated clothes to tackle clothing poverty and fashion waste, building choice, confidence and opportunity.
Through their stigma-free shopping model, GYB have diverted 60,000 items from landfill and supported over 6,000 families. They piloted the UK’s first ‘pay-it-forward’ shop in Islington, where purchases fund free clothing, and developed their Retail Ready employment programme. GYB now need to sustain and grow this model.
The Fore’s grant will help GYB establish a permanent flagship shop and grow Retail Ready, turning a proven model into a financially sustainable, scalable solution for tackling clothing poverty across the UK.
