The Garden Classroom
Description
The Garden Classroom is a multi-award-winning not-for-profit social enterprise established to ensure urban children have the chance to connect with the natural environment by delivering outside-the-classroom, curriculum-relevant workshops to schools. The aim of organisation is for schools to be using their local parks regularly, for learning about maths, literacy, science and other curriculum areas, rather than thinking of learning about nature as a special once-a-year trip. The Fore funded the development of a sustainable business strategy to manage the rising demand for The Garden Classroom’s services.
