Active Impact aims to build an inclusive society by creating opportunities for disabled people of all ages. Their current project, Mobiloo, is the world’s first attended mobile toilet and changing facility for disabled people who need a hoist and changing table. Mobiloo was first available to hire in 2015, and since then has grown quickly – there are currently 6 Mobiloos. Mobiloo has been described as ‘life changing’ by its users, many of whom plan their diary around events attended by Mobiloo. The Fore will fund the salary of a Logistics Manager, which will free the Director’s time to develop the organisation’s strategy and build partnerships and relationships to ensure long-term growth and sustainability.
