RIFT Social Enterprise
RIFT Social Enterprise, established in 2018, supports people with convictions and those experiencing long-term unemployment to set up their own businesses. The award-winning social enterprise does this through offering a bespoke 12-month support programme.
The Fore awarded grant funding to enable RIFT to expand their reach and the results have been impressive.
From working with a handful of prisons and supporting 60 people a year when we provided our funding, they now offer their support in 46 prisons and by the end of 2022 they were reaching almost 900 people a year.
“The Fore has been instrumental in our journey and I am not sure that we would have achieved the outcomes that we now see without their initial support. From the simplicity of the application process, to the ongoing support that we continue to receive long after our grant has been spent, I can’t thank or praise The Fore highly enough”. – Andy Gullick, CEO
