WWMS is a small charity based in North East London. The charity welcomes people of any faith or none to use its services. It is a Christian initiative and we are keen to maintain our Christian ethos. Our vision is of a society where all migrants are valued, respected and empowered to achieve their full potential.
What are they looking for?
We are looking for additional trustees with the time, skills and passion to support the following service priorities: • Recruitment of a Volunteer Coordinator • Expansion of our specialist (OISC Level 3) immigration advice service • Implementing a comprehensive information, signposting and referral service to address all the needs of our beneficiaries • Establishing partnerships with local organisations The ideal candidate will have the time, skills and passion to support our work with expertise in fundraising, HR or legal, and with lived experience of the issues facing our beneficiaries (vulnerable migrants). Most of the work would be done remotely. As well as the above specialities, we are looking for someone with the time to support the CEO in other ways. The current board members work full-time and cannot provide enough support. This is an exciting time to become involved. You can make a real difference to our work to empower our beneficiaries.
Timeframe:The closing date is the 8 December. Interviews will be held between 11 and 17 December.
