Transition Chipping Norton (TCN) is all about helping our local community live more sustainably and protecting our environment. We bring people together, support local initiatives, and help to amplify the voices of underrepresented groups to be better heard by policymakers.

We’re looking for a Treasurer / Bookkeeper / Trustee to help us keep our finances in good shape!

What are they looking for?

The main responsibilities will include: - Keeping an eye on our finances and making sure we’re using our funds wisely. - Setting up and maintaining simple financial systems, including potentially helping us to move to cloud accounting software. - Tracking income and expenses, making payments, and reconciling accounts. - Preparing straightforward financial reports so the board understands how we’re doing. - Helping with budgeting and financial planning. - Ensuring we meet any legal financial requirements as a charity. The role can be carried out remotely but we'd really like to find someone within at least 50 miles so we can meet you now and then! We anticipate around 2- 4hours a week, with a little extra time at the start to set up systems.
