Short-Term Project with Fearless Girls Club

Organisation Description
Fearless Girls Club is an ambitious social enterprise tackling one of the UK’s most pressing youth issues: the plummeting confidence of young girls. Our bold vision is that every girl in the UK grows up fearless – standing strong, speaking up and knowing her worth. We run 3 after-school clubs in Surrey and Berkshire with a fourth club opening shortly, as well as our national Fearless Girls Club subscription boxes, which bring our signature mix of creativity, reflection and confidence-building activities directly into homes. Founded by two mums, we launched in July 2024 and are already making huge waves. We’re now seeking support at this pivotal moment of growth to update our website with improved UX and a fresh look and feel to better reflect us as an organisation.
What are they looking for?
We’re looking for an experienced web designer / UX specialist or web developer to support us at the next stage of our growth. Our website is currently built on Wix, and we’re keen to explore whether staying on Wix is the right approach or whether a move to WordPress (or a similar CMS) would better support our ambitions.
We’re seeking guidance on this decision, alongside hands-on support to refresh the look and feel of the site and significantly improve the user experience. We want the website to feel clearer, warmer and more intuitive for parents, partners and supporters, while still being bold, modern and unmistakably Fearless Girls Club.
This is not just a visual tidy-up. We’re looking for someone who can help us think strategically about structure, journeys and conversion, and translate our purpose, energy and growing ambition into a website that truly reflects who we are and where we’re heading.
