Organisation Description
We are a community land trust established in Sheffield to empower communities and address land, social and evironmental justice, through community-led housing and development. We are leading a central pilot project of affordable low carbon homes and community spaces, alongside programmes of activity which further our mission, vision, and values.
What are they looking for?
We would be grateful for support circulating our recruitment for board members (trustees), and any recommended candidates, or further advise you would be able to offer.
We are looking for candidates for the roles of chair, treasurer, secretary, as well as regular board members, with a particular interest in individuals which have experience and skills in: organisational development & growth; financial skills & experience; economics and community wealth building; fundraising and leading successful programmes. We also value meaningful representation and participation from our community and value ‘non-professional’ experience and local knowledge.
We expect candidates to commit on average 2.5-3 hours a month of time, and stand for 2 years (up to a maximum of 3).
