Sandhurst Counselling Service Request

Organisation Description

Sandhurst Counselling Service has been an independent registered charity since 2011. It provides one to one counselling to persons suffering from mental or emotional disability. Counselling is completely confidential and offered in a safe and welcoming environment. Clients are generally self or GP referred from Sandhurst and adjoining areas, mainly within Bracknell Forest. They are normally seen on a weekly basis. Our counsellors receive supervision, support and training to help their own professional development. Last year we held around 1,600 counselling sessions.

What are they looking for?

We are currently undergoing a re-organisational process and are looking for additional trustee resources (financial, web design, fund raising etc) to help facilitate this work. We hold in person 3 to 4 trustee meetings a year, and function specific responsibilities would involve around 10 hours per month virtual support. More details of each function specific function can be provided on request
