Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation Request

Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation Request

Organisation Description

The Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation (RADLCF) creates opportunities for young people across the Liverpool City Region by leveraging the Dock’s heritage, businesses, and cultural spaces. We run Career Walking Tours, engaging SEND and mainstream students with hands-on experiences, job-shadowing, and industry insights. Our partnerships with Dock businesses provide mentorship, workshops, and career inspiration. As the charity of the Royal Albert Dock, we unite stakeholders to drive positive change, supporting young people to build confidence, skills, and aspirations for their future careers.

What are they looking for?

We are looking for committed and enthusiastic trustees to support the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool Charitable Foundation (RADLCF) in delivering its mission. Ideal candidates will bring expertise in auditing, charity management, policy, digital & technology, or community representation, helping us strengthen governance and strategic direction. We particularly welcome those with lived experience relevant to our work. Trustees attend six meetings per year, with a mix of in-person sessions in Liverpool and hybrid options available. Additional involvement may include supporting fundraising efforts, networking, or advising on specific charity projects. While this is a voluntary role, trustees play a vital part in shaping our impact. We seek individuals who are collaborative, strategic thinkers, and passionate about improving opportunities for young people. A willingness to engage beyond meetings, whether by attending events, providing mentorship, or leveraging professional networks, is highly valued.
