Ongoing Role with Music4Wellbeing

Organisation Description

Music4Wellbeing is a Kent-based charity delivering over 380 free creative sessions each year to more than 650 older adults and carers across 19 venues. Through music, movement and storytelling, we support people living with dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke recovery, disabilities, bereavement, loneliness and caring responsibilities – improving mental, emotional, physical and cognitive wellbeing while reducing isolation.

What are they looking for?

We are seeking pro bono expertise to strengthen the operational foundations that support our Administrative Support Volunteer role and the wider charity. While the role description outlines the day-to-day tasks, we are looking for specialist input to ensure our systems are efficient, scalable and sustainable as we grow.

Our priorities include:
• Streamlining digital filing and document management, ensuring information is easy to find, consistent and secure
• Improving how we organise and present operational data including budgets, funding outcomes and activity records so reporting is clearer and decision-making is better supported
• Strengthening governance and compliance processes making them more accessible and ensuring we meet best practice standards
• Identifying an appropriate light-touch donor database, suitable for a small but expanding charity
• Improve internal workflows between CEO, Operations Manager and practitioners to reduce bottlenecks and support smoother communication

As demand for our services continues to rise across Kent, we want to ensure our back-office systems are robust and proportionate to our growth. Strong operational infrastructure will free up leadership capacity for partnerships, fundraising and strategic development – ultimately enabling us to reach more older adults and carers.

We are open to flexible, virtual support over a sustained period.
