One to One Enfield Request (SAC Recommended)
Organisation Description
we work towards inclusion of people with Learning Difficulties and Autistic Adults, so that they can live their lives on an equal footing to others in a community that is accessible to them.
Formed in 1991, the charity supports members to live full and active lives, navigate health, care, and the wider community.
Members play an active role in decision making, planning, and governance of the charity, in a way that really helps and addresses their needs.
We run a range activities and programmes for Autistic Adults (over 18yrs) and those with Learning Difficulties to take part in within the community.
We run Learning events and Awareness training.
We administer Enfield’s Learning Difficulties and Autism Council, and chair the Enfield Adult Autism Strategy steering group.
We provide volunteering opportunities and training within our organisation.
We employ members to work with us in the head office and in support of activities.
What are they looking for?
