Organisation Description

The Breathe Well Initiative's aim is to establish Sierra Leone's first dedicated Lung Health Clinic in Bo town (Southern Region). The facility will offer: • Training for local healthcare workers (through train the trainer model) • Early diagnosis of asthma and COPD • Emergency oxygen and nebulisation support • Respiratory health education, smoking cessation programme and prevention • Community outreach to villages • Research to allow evidence-based Interventions • Opportunity to exchange of skills, knowledge and experiences for better respiratory care internationally
