Faith Brynel’s Insights CIC supports young people aged 16–25 in navigating life’s challenges and achieving their potential. Established as a Community Interest Company in November 2024, we specialize in providing guidance on study skills, mental health, and personal development. Our tailored workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and online resources empower young people to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. By fostering resilience, confidence, and self-awareness, we aim to create a supportive environment where young people can build the skills needed for lifelong success. Our work is driven by a commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and meaningful impact in our communities.
What are they looking for?
We are seeking support in finance and strategy/business planning to strengthen the impact of Faith Brynel's Insights CIC. As a growing organization supporting young people aged 16–25, we aim to ensure long-term sustainability and effective service delivery. We are looking for an ideal candidate with expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and business development. This includes experience in creating budgets, forecasting, and developing business strategies to scale social enterprises. Strong communication skills, creativity, and a collaborative approach are essential. The commitment is flexible, with an estimated 4–6 hours per month. Support can be provided virtually, making it accessible regardless of location, though occasional in-person meetings in Birmingham would be appreciated if possible. Key responsibilities may include refining our business plan, identifying funding opportunities, improving financial systems, and advising on strategic growth initiatives. Your insights will directly impact our ability to empower young people through education, mental health support, and personal development. Timeframe:Our request is time-sensitive, as we aim to have support in place by February 2025 to align with key planning milestones for the year.
