Cycle Sisters Request (SAC recommended)

Organisation Description

Cycle Sisters inspires and enables Muslim women and girls to change their lives through cycling. Our core activity is running volunteer led cycle groups that meet the needs of Muslim women but with all women welcome. Alongside this we run other initiatives to increase the representation of Muslim women across cycling and related areas of sport e.g. triathlon.

What are they looking for?

We are looking with someone with expertise in Data Protection Law and specifically practically implementing GDPR in a small charity setting within a team of contractors who work remotely, from home.

We gather data on our participants in a range of ways - from googleforms to our booking system Playwaze. We are very conscious of our responsibilities within GDPR and have a policy in place. As we grow we would appreciate some guidance on how to ensure we meet the legal requirements, process/keep data and store it securely.

The support would be virtual and we imagine the time commitment would be an initial consultation session to ask/answer questions (we could provide context/questions in advance) and then a follow up session to discuss any further questions. Approx 5-8 hrs in total.
