What are they looking for?
We are seeking a Non-Executive Director with HR, compliance and/or employee care experience. The ideal candidate will: - Have good organisational skills along with an interest in how organisations work; - Be willing to commit to Chiltern for a minimum 2 years; - Be willing to learn and will have a positive attitude towards thinking about things differently; - Be willing to have high-level and abstract conversations; - Have a holistic perspective through considering the big picture and wider oversight. As a trustee, you will be: - Utilising your experience to identify gaps and tensions in existing processes and approaches, as well as supporting team members to consider new solutions and approaches; - A guide to team members across the organisation; - Committed to learning about our way of working and your own personal growth. The minimum time commitment is 1 hour online meeting per month plus 2 half-day workshops (in-person) per year. Directors may occasionally be required to support the operational team with areas related to their skill set and expertise.
