Cards for Bravery Request

Organisation Description

Cards for Bravery was founded in 2015 by Katie Callaghan when she was just 13 years old, inspired by her own experiences as a hospitalised patient. What started as a small project to bring joy to hospitalised children has now grown into a registered charity. We are a charity dedicated to brightening the days and improving the emotional wellbeing of hospitalised and seriously ill children, young people and their families. We aim to do this through a range of services such as providing positive handmade cards, bravery packages, activity packs and other resources. We work with over 35 hospitals, hospices and CAMHS Units across the UK, having distributed over 45,000 of our services over the past 10 years. Through small acts of kindness, we bring joy, comfort, and encouragement to those facing challenging times.
