We strive for high-quality work, fostering a community of practice, and extend our reach through our outreach programme aCW (There) and the creative hub YMa (Here). Artis Community aims to challenge disadvantage, ensuring accessibility for people in the Rhondda Cynon Taf while connecting with the broader region and beyond. Through partnerships and collaborations, we support a thriving arts sector and create opportunities for community engagement and personal growth.
What are they looking for?
We seek dedicated volunteers to support our Finance and HR functions, bringing expertise, flexibility, and a passion for community enrichment. Ideal candidates should possess strong backgrounds in finance or human resources, with the ability to provide strategic insight and practical solutions. Key responsibilities include attending quarterly Board meetings, offering guidance on financial planning, budgeting, and HR policies, and supporting our goal of fostering a thriving arts community. Time commitment involves participating in quarterly Board meetings and occasional ad-hoc consultations. We offer a hybrid working model, allowing volunteers to engage both virtually and in person, accommodating diverse schedules and locations. Important logistics include reliable internet access for virtual meetings and occasional travel to our central hub for in-person sessions. We value collaboration, proactive communication, and a shared commitment to our mission.
