Ripple Acts CIC
Description
Rippleacts gets long term unemployed people in Norfolk back into work by overcoming their fears and rediscovering their strengths.
Traditional Jobcentre Plus services focus heavily on job search and employability skills, leading to poor outcomes. Rippleacts takes a different approach and places mental health at the core. By combining cognitive-behavioural coaching with hands-on work experience, they address the root causes of unemployment. 78% of participants that complete the Rippleacts programme begin actively applying for jobs, training, or volunteering. The Department For Work and Pensions is eager to work with them, but Rippleacts’ resource-intensive face-to-face model is limiting their ability to scale.
With support from The Fore, they’ll be able to develop a digital coaching course, opening up new public and private sector contracts to scale beyond Norfolk and help more people rebuild their lives.
