Manchester Refugee Support Network

Description

Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN) supports refugee and asylum seeker communities across Greater Manchester, run directly by refugees themselves.

Newly-granted refugees often face isolation and struggle to navigate life in the UK, from welfare and immigration to everyday essentials. MRSN meets this need through advice on welfare, immigration, skills and wellbeing, helping people resettle and build new lives. MRSN now has the opportunity to expand its offer further.

Using funding from The Fore, MRSN will convert its current office into a community café, delivering evening activities including English classes, cooking classes and wellbeing sessions creating a welcoming hub for the community it serves.
