MAC-UK
Description
MAC-UK’s mission is to take mental health support out of the clinic and into communities to better meet the needs of excluded and marginalised young people.
Working with the NHS and other public services, MAC-UK are transforming the mental health care system for young people by making it more accessible. They train professionals to better engage young people in their communities and put young people in the driving seat to design services. With their unique formula, they are inundated with training requests from institutions but are unable to respond to many.
With The Fore’s support, MAC-UK will hire a consultant to develop a scalable training programme, creating a strong income stream and paving the way for systemic change in mental health care across the UK.
