Jeremiah’s Journey

Description

Jeremiah’s Journey (JJ) help children and families cope with the trauma of losing someone close.

Set up by NHS professionals in response to Plymouth having no dedicated bereavement service for children, half of the children they work with have lost a parent. From family therapy, to group and one-to-one sessions, JJ shape support around what works best for each family. It’s no surprise that 100% of children feel better because of their support. But outdated manual referral and appointment processes slow access and burn staff time.

Funding from The Fore will allow JJ to launch a new digital interface, saving £15,000 of staff time annually, and creating space to diversify partnerships and roll out chargeable training, giving them the financial footing to reach a quarter more people each year.
