Harry’s Hydrocephalus Awareness Trust (HH) is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping children with hydrocephalus and their families.
Hydrocephalus is a life-threatening condition with no cure and is the leading cause of brain surgery in children. Despite this, support is alarmingly limited. HH provide vital online and in-person services, as well as campaigning nationally. With 80% of beneficiaries reporting better understanding of the condition and 90% feeling less isolated, what they do works. They successfully piloted a North West Hub to meet high regional demand, but limited capacity is restricting its development.
With our funding, HH will increase the Hub Coordinator’s hours to turn the pilot into a regional hub and develop a model ready to be rolled out across the UK.
