Food For Purpose CIC
Description
Food For Purpose (FFP) are tackling health inequities in global majority communities by helping people live healthier lives through food education and cooking in the places they know and trust.
Many global majority communities in London face poorer health outcomes, including higher rates of obesity and diabetes, and a mistrust of the NHS. FFP’s culturally adapted programmes are reaching individuals the NHS can’t, including cooking classes that reflect people’s cultures and traditions. They are ambitious to do more, but need streamlined systems and more hands on deck.
FFP will use our funding to bring in marketing expertise and a Commercial Operations Lead, engaging new clients and improving systems fundamental to growth. The added capacity will give the CEO the time to develop an income-generating online health programme.
