Hartsbrook E-Act Free School
Description
Hartsbrook E-ACT Free School is a primary school established in Tottenham, north London, in September 2012. The school has an ambitious charitable vision however, an above average number of the pupils have English as a second language, many speaking no English at all on arrival. The Fore funds covered TALKBOOST, specialised English language classes for selected pupils. The TALKBOOST programme showed that pupils gained significantly in almost all areas assessed.
