Rare Charity
Description
Rare Charity provides tertiary scholarships to talented students from tea communities to pursue their education. It currently operates in the Satemwa tea community in Malawi, a country which has one of the world's lowest enrolment rate for tertiary education. The charity's aim is to give ambitious young people the ability to uplift themselves, their households and their communities. Rare Charity is using funding from The Fore to start a scholarship programme specifically for girls, who face additional cultural and economic barriers to education in the communities where Rare Charity works.
