Code Brave
Description
Codebrave was created in 2018 after its founders, who were working at a shelter for homeless youth in Lebanon, were asked by one the boys if he could be taught coding. Young homeless people are often forced into prostitution or crime. Tech education offers them a route to escaping poverty and secure futures for themselves in a growing sector. Codebrave has set up pioneering coding and robotics classes for children in homeless shelters across Lebanon. Codebrave is using funding from The Fore to cover salary costs for the organisation's Chief Executive, enabling them to focus on bringing in additional revenue and making the organisation financially secure for the long term.
