All Ears MHA CIC

Description

All Ears Mental Health Awareness CIC provide affordable, therapy sessions and workshops for young people across Greater Manchester.

Amy Madden set up All Ears after she lost her best friend by suicide at just 16. Whilst one in five young people in England are likely to face mental health issues, waiting lists to access support can be over two years long. It’s no surprise that All Ears are experiencing increasing and urgent demand for their support.

With their first grant from The Fore, All Ears were able to develop their first accredited training course and diversify their income, which nearly tripled by the end of the grant period. With a further £100,000 in scale-up funding, they plan to establish Wigan’s first mental health hub, allowing All Ears to dramatically increase the number of young people they support. The hub will also free up Amy’s time to focus on developing more income-generating courses, unlocking a steady stream of unrestricted funds, with the aim of expanding to two more locations by 2028.

Our Scale Up funding programme supports organisations that have been previously backed by The Fore. Organisations are invited to participate based on the priorities of our funders. Because of this, we kindly request that you don’t contact us about participating in this programme. For more information on our regular funding rounds, please visit the Apply for funding drop down menu on our website.
