All Ears Mental Health Awareness CIC
Description
All Ears Mental Health Awareness CIC (Community Interest Company) is based in Wigan, which has the highest suicide rate in Greater Manchester. Founded by Amy Madden after the loss of her childhood best friend, it delivers vital mental health education sessions in schools.
It also provides therapies, counselling, and a suicide crisis service. 20,000 young people have accessed their resources, and they have worked with 4,000 young people directly. 90% have a better idea of what to do if they are experiencing mental health difficulties.
All Ears will use The Fore’s grant funding to hire additional staff so the Founder can concentrate on development. This will allow them to generate more income and increase their life-saving impact.
