Cash keeps the lights on. It’s as simple as that. Cashflow problems are more common than we might think. Often, we can budget to breakeven, or turn a surplus, and still encounter cashflow problems. It’s important to understand when challenges may be temporary and when they may be a sign of something more serious. In this session we revisit how to prepare a simple cashflow forecast to make sure cash balances stay positive and we revisit the Charity Commission guidance on managing financial difficulties. This session includes a practical breakout activity to apply learning and share insights with peers.
