The Fore’s Impact Report 2025/26
November 3, 2026
Our 2025/26 Impact Report is now live!
As our patron Sir Kenneth Olisa OBE reminded us when he collected the award for Outstanding Contribution to Social Mobility earlier this month: “It’s not that the negative people are right. They’re not. It’s just that we, the positive people, don’t speak up.”
So we’re speaking up. It might seem an unlikely moment for optimism, but from where we stand, something extraordinary is happening.
It’s not just that this year, we’ve distributed £1.73 million through 40 grants to exceptional charities and social enterprises across the UK. And we’ve convened the skills and networks for many more, giving leaders what they need to thrive and reach their potential.
Or that 2025, the year of taking stock, seems to have paid off and we’re now seeing signs of recovery across our portfolio:
- 81% average score against transformational stretch targets
- 25% increase in beneficiaries reached (1.5 million in total)
- 25% increase in programmes offered (2,505 in total), after a 19% decrease last year
Or that having set ourselves the goal for exceptional grassroots solutions to achieve nationwide impact within five years, we now can report that 31% of the charities we backed between 2017 and 2023 have already achieved nationwide impact, rising to 50% of those we backed in 2019/20.
The thing that is truly extraordinary is that a new kind of philanthropy is emerging. It is ambitious in its aspirations, rigorous in its thinking and humble in its approach.
The solutions are already here – lets back them!
Read our new impact report to find out what we’ve been up to and how, together, we can create a society that solves its own problems.
