Fearless Girls Club is a UK social enterprise helping girls aged 8–12 build confidence, critical thinking and emotional resilience before the sharp drop in self-esteem that typically occurs during early adolescence. Through after-school clubs, workshops and a monthly subscription activity box, we equip girls with practical tools to understand themselves, question limiting stereotypes and develop the courage to speak up and take up space. Our programmes combine evidence-based psychology, creative activities and guided reflection to translate complex ideas about identity, resilience and leadership into experiences girls can actually practise in everyday life. Recent work includes expanding our community club network across Surrey, launching our monthly subscription box for girls nationwide and delivering a variety of workshops in partnership with experts and organisations focused on girls’ empowerment.
What are they looking for?
We are looking for practical commercial support to help us increase sales of our monthly subscription activity box for girls aged 8–12. The product itself is strong – a carefully designed magazine and activity kit grounded in research on girls’ confidence and development – but we have not yet cracked a consistent and scalable sales model.
We would value input from someone with experience in product sales, consumer products or subscription businesses who can help us step back and review our current approach. This could include a short audit of our positioning, pricing and messaging, identifying where we may be losing potential customers in the sales journey, and advising on clearer routes to market.
In particular, we would benefit from practical advice on how to sharpen the commercial proposition for parents, improve conversion from awareness to purchase, and identify the most effective channels for driving subscriptions (for example partnerships, online sales funnels, or other direct-to-consumer approaches).
A useful outcome would be a focused set of commercial recommendations and priority actions that we can test quickly to increase subscription sales. As a small founder-led social enterprise, a few hours of input from someone experienced in product sales or scaling consumer products would be extremely valuable.
