South Bucks Counselling (SBC) is a professionally accredited charity providing mental health support, based in High Wycombe. For over 40 years, SBC has been committed to offering low-cost, accessible individual counselling to adults across South Buckinghamshire. We address a wide range of presenting issues, including depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Our dedicated counsellors volunteer their time, enabling us to deliver over 1,500 counselling sessions annually. Clients typically access our services through self-referral, often following advice or signposting from their GP or other local organisations such as Wycombe Mind.

Trustee Opportunity – South Bucks Counselling

Are you passionate about improving access to mental health support in your community? We are seeking committed and enthusiastic Trustees to join the board of South Bucks Counselling, a growing mental health charity that provides affordable, psychodynamic counselling services to those who need it most in the High Wycombe area.

As a Trustee, you will play a vital role in guiding the organisation’s strategy and helping us expand our impact. We welcome applications from all professional backgrounds and lived experiences. We would value skills or experience in:

· Finance, accountancy, or financial oversight
· Fundraising, income generation, or grant writing

This is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. The role is voluntary and typically involves attending regular board meetings and contributing to strategic planning.
