Organisation Description

We are a Dementia support service for the unpaid carers of people living with Dementia. We support carers from the pre-diagnosis of Dementia all the way through to the end of their caring role. We provide 1to1 support, facilitated support groups, carer information courses and signposting and support. Everything we do for carers is completely free of charge.

What are they looking for?

One of the organisations we work with has employed someone on a one-year contract. This person is currently on a spousal work visa which expires in March, approximately 8 months before the end of their contract.
We are considering offering to host their work visa so the role can completed but, we have never done anything like this before and would value some guidance on what is involved, the risks, costs and responsibilities, so we can decide whether we are able to support them.
