The Menopause Charity (MC) are making sure no one faces menopause alone by turning awareness into better support.
Half of peri or post-menopausal people in the UK felt uninformed before experiencing it, and 76% said their partners didn’t know how to support them. MC give individuals, their families, health professionals and employers the tools and training to face menopause with confidence. They also champion the voices of those experiencing menopause in national policy and guidance. They’ve successfully piloted an income-generating online portal for employers to better support staff, but don’t have the resource to roll it out more widely.
With The Fore’s support, they’ll bring in new staff to free up the CEO to launch the portal and also make sure it reaches as many employers as possible, kicking off a new chapter of income-backed expansion.
