Huddersfield Town Foundation Request

Organisation Description

The Huddersfield Town Foundation (HTF) is the official charity of Huddersfield Town Football Club (HTAFC). The Foundation inspires people, creates opportunities, and works with other local organisations to deliver needs-driven projects across Kirklees.

We are rooted in our community. The unique needs of Kirklees are part of how we define our purpose, along with our passion for football and support, our distinct set of knowledge and skills, and the resources we can access to make it all happen. The Huddersfield Town Foundation can’t meet all the challenges that face our community, but there are issues where we strongly believe we can make a difference.

What are they looking for?

Successful candidates will be able to contribute to the strategic leadership of the Foundation and will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the challenges and opportunities faced by the charity. You will also be able to demonstrate success in a senior role in the private / public / voluntary sector, to think creatively and strategically and possess the skills to challenge current thinking at a Board level.

Trustees attend four main board meetings per year that last for circa 3hrs. Trustees will need to allocate time to read board papers, emails, possibly attend subcommittee meetings as well as an annual strategy day with the senior team. Board members are encouraged to attend sessions and events run by the Foundation.
