SAGE Support Arts Gardening Education Request

Organisation Description

SAGE supports people with mental health issues in a deprived ward of Sheffield on our large allotment. We host 2 12 place weekly therapeutic gardening and arts and crafts groups with a programme of targeted activities with regular individual reviews to promote resilience and recovery, supported by 2 qualified staff and a team of volunteers. The weekly 25 place women’s singing group is led by an experienced tutor with a member of staff and 4 volunteers. We are small, community based and focus on welcoming a diverse group of members who have not responded well to mainstream mental health services.

What are they looking for?

We are looking for Trustees with an interest in small charity management and who are passionate about creative and effective mental health support. We need a treasurer to support our bookkeeper to provide a link to the board and ensure we use our resources effectively.
