Founded in 2016 by a childhood cancer survivor, Shine a Light Childhood Cancer Support provides a supportive community for young patients and their loved ones.
Operating across Coventry and Warwickshire, Shine a Light provides services support to the whole family unit, allowing members to feel less isolated in their experience of childhood cancer.
Demand is doubling year on year and the organisation is at a pivotal stage of development. The Fore’s grant will fund a paid CEO position to ensure the charity has the capacity to expand its vital services.
