Not being able to afford basic interview clothing is a major barrier to employment for women from marginalised groups. Volunteer-run Dress for Success Scotland gets women the workwear and professional support they need, so that they can gain economic independence.

Following job losses from the pandemic and now during the cost-of-living crisis, Dress for Success Scotland is seeing ever increasing demand for their services. The Fore’s funding will support their first paid member of staff – an Operations Manager. This will enable them to expand their delivery from Glasgow to a second location, and to grow their virtual suiting service.
