Description
Grow Cardiff is a tenacious, award winning, grassroots charity. They’re making a lasting difference to the health and wellbeing of local people through community gardening.
The charity empowers those marginalised through poverty or lack of opportunity by creating buzzing, nature-filled hubs in urban spaces. Grow Cardiff has ten successful social-prescribing partnerships with GPs already in place, and demand from the NHS to expand across Wales. Schools are also looking for more of their programmes including Edible Playgrounds.
With The Fore’s support, Grow Cardiff will have capacity to grow sustainably, building effective partnerships and launching a major new income-generating programme.
