Upminster Baptist Church Men’s shed
Description
The Men’s Shed is a men-only community service run by Upminster Baptist Church in the London borough of Havering. The group uses practical tasks to build friendships between attendees and bring people together, while also undertaking construction projects in the local community (such as refurbishing a historic windmill as part of a preservation project). The organisation is using funding from The Fore to grow its staff team and expand its reach, launch a men’s cafe and also to create a user-led men’s forum.
