This information session will introduce you to the Fore and our innovative venture philanthropy model. You will find out how you could get involved with our work as a Strategic Applicant Consultant\, providing strategic support to small organisations and ensuring that we identify the most compelling candidates for funding. \nWe actively encourage applications from a wide range of backgrounds and from all sections of the community for this highly flexible ‘low bono’ opportunity. DESCRIPTION:The Fore is launching its Summer 2022 Funding Round programme for charities and social enterprises in Cornwall in partnership with private funders across Cornwall and the South West. The Fore’s programme helps charities and social enterprises develop\, grow and/or become more sustainable. \nSuccessful applicants will receive: \n\nA grant of up to £30\,000 of unrestricted grant funding over 1-3 years\nAccess to free\, highly skilled support provided by experienced professionals\nA funded place on an impact management course.\n\nHow to Apply: The first step towards making an application is to register to attend the virtual application preparation workshops that we are holding on April 5th and April 6th. \nAt this workshop you will find out all about the programme\, how to apply and gain some top tips on how to write a great elevator pitch for your charity or community organisation. All Cornwall-based charities\, social enterprises\, CICs\, CIOs and CBSs with an annual income under £500\,000 are welcome to attend.

DESCRIPTION:Target Audience \nThis course will benefit any organisation with a turnover of over £100k who would like to develop and improve their charity’s approach to measuring and communicating their impact\, whether you are delivering services\, managing projects or services or in a fundraising role. \nLearning Outcomes \nBy the end of this course\, participants will be able to: \n\nDevelop an impact measurement system for their charity which considers inputs\, outputs and outcomes.\nUse simple yet effective measurement tools to gather evidence of their impact.\nAnalyse the information gathered to identify key impacts and the difference their organisation makes.\nCommunicate their impact with stakeholders.\n\nFollow On Support \nTo help you implement your learning from this training\, you will also be able to access up to four sessions with an FSI impact specialist over the 3 months following the training. Each session will be up to 2hrs (including prep and follow up). We hope you make use of these in whatever way is most useful to you. Some examples of how you could use sessions include: \n\nReviewing the impact measurement system you’ll start developing in the training – spotting gaps\, inconsistencies or improvements and discussing solutions\nSupport to refresh your data collection methods e.g. survey questions\, outcomes measures\, focus group questions\nRoll two sessions together\, for a training session with your wider team/board on impact measurement\nReview of impact communications documents or plan e.g. impact report
